![]() Another quick and handy check on the rear that I've heard is to get out your socket set. The bottom bolts on the 9" are supposed to be impossible to get the socket on, and you would have to use an open end on them. I've never paid any attention to this but I know for a fact that you can get a socket on every bolt on the 8", so it probably works. So if you would have to use an open end, then it's a 9".
Your car should have had an 8" inch in it from the factory, unless it originally had a 390 in it. ------------------ 66 GT Fastback 5.0, 5-speed, cable clutch, JBA's, 3.40 gears, EFI coming soon? |
