![]() The rear end on my 67' coupe has me sort of baffled as to what it is. On the i.d. tag it say 2.79 and it has an asterix(*) on it what does that mean. Anyone know?? The others I've seen dont have an asterix I know possi's have an L. what do limited slips have?

![]() I think that you will find that Posi and limited slip are one and the same.
Don't know what a "*" is though. |

![]() agreed..."posi" is a Chevy term. Ford's came with limited slip. I've never seen an * on one though. All I've ever seen is an L.
