I also own a Medium Blue Met., 1970 Mach 1. The correct paint code is "Q" which is stamped on the data plate on the inner passenger fender. I also have the words "MEDBLU M " on the plate.

When I painted my car 6 years ago, I tried to get this color from PPG paints and could not. After much debate, I ended up using a 1995 Mustang Blue. It looks great on the car, but it's not correct. I've only seen 2 other Mach 1's this Med. Blue color, and I've since found out that Ford made less than 1000 Mach 1's this color in 1970.

My advice is to try to find something closer than I did since this is so rare.
