Mine was about around a $1000 bill. I bought a used T5 and bellhousing for about 700, and then you need the new crossmember and shorten your driveshaft.

the original flywheel and pressure plate can be used, but the bellhousing must be modified to use the old style clutch fork and throw out bearing. You have to attach an old styly clutch fork pivot to it.

Or you can convert to a cable clutch, but that will cost you a few extra bucks.
