Thumbs down

I have dealt with Ted in the past, and I would not recommend him. I tried to buy a hood from him at the Houston Autorama. I told him that I did not want a repro hood and he said that he had an NOS one. I didn't pay close attention to it when I put my deposit down, but when I came by to pick it up I noticed that it had a KSI sticker on it. When I told Ted that it was a repro, he responded by saying, "I thought you knew it was a repro!"

I don't usually like to talk down about other people, but I really wouldn't trust Ted. I have also talked to other people who had Ted pull similiar stunts on them too. A common trick of his when selling you something is to leave out a critical part. Then he will insist that you have to pay extra to get the missing part. Simply amazing!

Ted may have a lot of good stuff. But if you can't go there to look him in the eye, then I would pass on any "deals" that he may have.

Sorry for the rant, but this guy makes my skin crawl...
