According to the Centerforce catalog (which has flywheels), the '82 and up 302 has a 50 oz. balance type flywheel. And the early 302's have their own flywheel to go with their 28 oz. balance. I'm pretty sure you've got the wrong counterbalance weight on the flywheel you're using and that's what's causing the vibration.
