I have read several sources that said the 84-85 T5 would be shredded by the increased hp, but that there was an upgrade to the gears quality after 85 that should handle the hp of the 302.

I will check front vs rear steer. I have read that all production car models are rear steer.

I did plan on doing some fab with this approach.

I am guessing that the springs on the 87 Mustang are going to be to soft due to the small engine in the car. Any Idea about how stiff the Merc springs would be?
