![]() A .420 cam doesn't sound like too much of a cam. It should work with stock components, but if I was going to bother changing the cam I would go a little bigger. Problem is mainly the press-in rocker arm studs will pull right out of the head with high lift cams. You could get new heads with screw-in studs or take yours to a machine shop to get it done for @$50. There are still many other things that could use upgrading while you have it apart, but that is the big one.
