I'll give you some advice right now...you can spray it, beat it, and swear at it forever, or you can get a pitman arm puller and have it off in 30 seconds. All you really have to do is remember which direction it's facing when you pull it, because it has 4 recessed splines that will only allow it to go back on a certain way.
