not canted? I have a set of C8VE heads sitting here... all 429/460 heads have canted valves...
the prob with those older heads is that they are designed to run on leaded fuel... the valve seats aren't hardened...
I'm not sure on the chamber CC's, my 429CJ heads are small, a flat top piston gives 11.7-1 compression... you might look for a set of CJ heads unless you need the parts off the 429..
