Maybe I'm not understanding this right. Do you mean the use of Mustang II spindles without any other modifications? If that's the question, then the answer is no.

Putting in a rack and pinion Mustang II suspension into an early Mustang is a big job, requiring replacment of the whole front suspension (major effort).
