![]() Also Pontiac motors aren't the greatest power plants out there by design. Take a 454 chev, 455 olds, and a 455 pontiac motors do the same work and the pontiac would come out last.
I have beat my buddies T/A when he had a 400 auto 3.73, then 4.56, then a 455 auto 4.56, then 455 stick 3.73. His car is heavier but I only have a little 302. I'm all for the ford motor, esp in a ford car. I will be doing a 429 soon and would love to play with a windsor sometime. ------------------ 82 Mercury Capri 302, Comp.
