As usual, Jeff is correct. The rules regarding transmissions says "stock". The insides of the transmissions, however are going to be under discussion at our rules committee meetings for the 2000 rule book.
In truth, it would be tough for us to know that the internal parts are unmodified since we have never torn down anybodies trans (so far). We MAY permit internal mods to the T-5, Tremec, & AOD for next year.
