Not a bad idea, kinda Indy car style with a pop-off valve. Problem is, who would supply them and who would regulate them. I can see the masses running to their garages now to try and 'modify' the pop-off to get that little extra advantage! It takes an army of CART officials to inspect/oversee the pop-off valves and some serious testing machinery to make sure that they're all evenly matched.
