Man for a second there when you said trying to go 7's I thought you meant 1/8th mile I as fixing to call B.S. Lol My brother has a 79' camaro and has a 1 inch carb spacer I dont know much about them but he says that you sacrafice some low end torque with the spacer but helps on the top end so I would think since you are racing the 1/8th mile I would remove he spcer for more low end grunt.
