Hey smithbilling.
I concur that AWD is heavier and hence harder on gas. But the bulk of difference between an AWD and normal FWD (ESI model) for the TALON is the TURBO. Why? The second your turbo neddle spools, your gas pump is pumping hard. Have you ever followed a TSI when they step on it.... it stinks. They run rich... cuz rich safe. No detonation.
