![]() Car craft recently did a 600 HP buildup on a 86 GT 302 they yanked from the boneyard. They detailed grinding in valve reliefs into the flattop pistons. This goes back about 3 months or so. They did the clay marking then drew the pattern on the pistons, and ground out the releifs with a die grinder with the pistons still in the shortblock. The motor survived a 600+ HP NOS shot about 400+ on the motor
