the loss is not percentage based. the tranny takes a fixed amount of hp at a given rpm, same with the rear. cobras make the hp they are supposed to. no one knows for certain how much hp the IRS saps. i've never seen any 96-98 pull below 260rw sae corrected in a good tune.
