Steps for building fast 4 banger stangs.
#1 Throw stock motor away. #2 Locate a Merkur XR4Ti or Thunderbird T/C to get a new intercooled turbo 2.3 out of. #3 Convert the drivetrain of the said donor car over to your '79. #4 Add additional mods to the 4cyl as needed. #5 Run 12's and 13's. Enjoy! BTW, did you post this in small pony's? I know I know, it's dead, still there are some people who've done this. |
