The 1G ACR's had a better suspension and the DOHC 150HP engine.
The 2G ACR/RT's have better suspenison and the old SOHC engine with a revised intake to make 150HP and have a better tourque curve. Still a hig 15 low 16 car. Their was talk of producing a SRT which had a supercharger(11# of boost). SCC did a test and this Neon ran 0-60 in 5.9 seconda and the quarter in 15.1 at 103.5 mph.
