I had both. I swapped from SSM to the Lakewood's when they were still $119 from jegs.(sold old SSM's for $75) I did it mainly for the bushing's, to get the better on daily driven. They hook about the same but the Lakewoods are street friendly compared to the SSM bars. I got tired of all the creaking & popping from the SSM's.
