I'm going to say he wasn't stock. I'm not sure but I don't think stock 5.0's have much above 5200-5500. I'm not positive though I could be wrong, but I'm going to go with he was spraying. If you say he started to come on strong in third then he must of been spraying. I don't know of any poweradder that you can just turn on except for NO2. If he was fully built them he would of probably taken you from a stop too, not just coming on in third. If he wouldn't pop the trunk then I would think giggle gas, thats what I'm going with; Could be wrong though?
