Rocket 99GT... I notice on your mod list you do not have a MAF system. Make sure to take out that passenger headlight when you race him. That is good for about 10-15HP (or about .2 on the quarter)... NO KIDDING!!!!! I've tried everyway possible and without a Steeda Timing adjuster, the best way to get the air in the engine is by keeping your plastic cover over your air filter. Make sure to remove the restrictive plastic tube that goes out into your fender (it's a 2 piece cover). After reading the arguments, I'm starting to worry about your launch too. One of the locals here has 3.73 and lowering springs, and because of that, he is very inconsitant on his launches. Good Luck dude! |
