![]() My first guess is that your TFS Stage 3 heads are a bit much for a little 306. What are your flow numbers on the heads? I have TFS TW heads ported out that are flowing 272 intake and 206 exhaust at .500 lift and 28" of H20. My heads are a bit much for my little N/A 302 (65 cc chambers = 9.0:1 comp.) ....however, I had them ported that much (especially on the exhaust side) as I am planning on adding an ATI ProCharger. If I were going to keep an N/A setup, I wouldn't have had the heads ported so much and I would have stepped up my comp. ratio.
As you can see by my sig. I am running 13.1-13.2 @ 106mph so I wouldn't get too upset with your ET's. Plus you were in some really high temps. With better conditions I think you could easily see 108+ mph. E ------------------ 1991 5.0 LX Coupe - 38,000 miles 13.17 @ 106.14 mph w/ 2.138 60' |
