![]() I have the 3:73's and while i really like 'em, I almost think I should have gone with the 3:55's. Like Phil Ossifer said, decisions, decisions. I'm winding all the gears in the 1/4 mile now, revving more than 5000 rpm's in 4th gear going through the traps at 99mph. I used to be hitting 5000 rpm in third before the gear change. I've heard there's only about 300 rpm difference between the 3:55's and the 3:73's at 70mph. If your going to go turbo you might want to think 3:55 or even smaller. BTW Summit sells the Crane HI-6S ignition kit which includes the HI-6 ignition and PS-91 coil in a package for about $150, that's where I got mine.
------------------ 91 LX 5.0 Z t-5, 3:73 gear, Vortech 73mm Mass Air, Accufab 65mm TB, BBK underdrives, Crane HI-6S Ignition, BBK unequal length headers, Bassani x pipe, 2.5" Dynomax Super Turbo cat back, Kenny Brown Super Subs, Factory Five Control Arms, Mac cold air kit and more to come! |
