Believe it or not the 15.2 my stang runs is pretty fast for the crappy air that we have here. There are a couple of hatch back fox body automatic stangs that run in the 16's I can beat some of them with my truck. When the altitude density of the air usualy varies between 3400ft and 6000 ft on the altitude density meter here at the track. you can count on running 5 tenths to a second slower than what you are supposed to run. Here are average times in Odessa LS1 Trans Am 13.6-13.8 99-01 GT Stang 14.4-15.0 96-98 GT Stang 14.8-15.4 87-93 GT Stang 14.6-15.4 LT1 Z28 14.2-14.6 *All cars stock* ------------------ 88 mustang gt convertible bored to 306 BBk equal length headers mac cold air fender kit cowl hood nitto drag radials ford racing clutch flow masters h-pipe 160* thermostat 16 degrees of timing electric fan off 94' t-bird jacobs electronics cap and wires. Edelbrock 1 1/2 inch drop springs. best 60 ft 2.14, best 1/8th 9.65, best 1/4 15.2 @89mph, Stock gears and 3000+ Altitude |
