when u see people buring out in autos there power braking. one foot on the brake and the other mashing the gas. i'm not too sure what affect it will have on the converter, but i haven't had any problems. only autos have a tourq coverter, as standards has a clutch. when i launch reving to 1800 i don't have a lot of wheel spin, maybe a little chirp when i play it right. u can thank the poor acceleration to the stock 2.73 gears in the autos!
