Unit 5302: That all sounds great to beat the system and all, but the fact is he is an 18 year old kid. He will most likely be nervous and fumble his words, etc... 9 times out of 10 the court will eat him alive if he tries to fight it by himself. It has happened to me a few times.

An 18 year old kid in a Mustang accused of racing? Your hit. Get the lawyer. Get one you are comfortable with. You will never even see a judge. He will talk behind the scenes with the prosecutor and they will tell you how much your reduced fine is. If you have no previous record you'll probably get no points and just pay a small fine and court costs. Plus 300-500 for the lawyer. Don't pay more than this. Before I found my lawyer a couple wanted to charge me 1000.00!!!!! For a freakin' drag racing ticket!!!

I too have experience. I have had about 4 drag racing tickets that I can remember.
