Sky, I checked my plugs finally after the track. I would just pull a couple easy ones and I assumed everything was ok. But to my suprise I had 3 that no longer had tips on them.
It seems my lower intake gaskets started leaking (never retorqued the lower) and started pulling oil in from the lifter valley. Oil can make 104 act like 86 octane in a flash. I have never heard a single rattle.
