I was speed shifting 1st -2nd. Not powershifting. I was shifting at 7,000 RPM's and I swear I never had traction until the end of the track. I guess I need to ease up on the gas until it hooks in second.
I'm runnin the BF street tires, not slicks, so that is probably part of the problem. On the street, shifting from 1st - 2nd, I get wheelspin, but it always seems to hook quick. Maybe the track was a little slick. I know the times aren't great, but dam, it sure was fun. And I didn't have to look over my shoulder for the
BLUE LIGHTS!!!

If I got 3.73's or 4.10's I guess I would also need a set of nittos, to get some traction. Gotta save that $$$.
