![]() I'll second the notion that the car mags, Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Road & Track, etc... review the 1996-1998 DOHC 4.6L Cobra's at 14.0@102mph. The 1999 Cobra was quoted as a very high 13 second machine before the fix, and after picked up a little. One article posted the 1999 Cobra after the fix at 13.5.
So maybe you need to check your sources, mystic96. Or maybe you don't have any but your rear end? (and I'm not talking cars) You come off as an arrogant jerk who flames everything in sight because the Cobra has historically not performed to the level for which you have been able to achieve. It's true the DOHC Cobra is a very formidible car when driven with some zeal, and they respond exceptionally well to some very basic mods such as gears, but for average Joe Shmoe driving his stone stock 4.6 Cobra, they are going to get about 14.0@102mph. Take your flames somewhere else, people like you give Mustang owners a bad name. |
