The best mod for them as far as performance goes is a high stall torque converter. Also a performance shift kit will make a noticable performace differance, but is a better mod for power handling and durability.

Changing the rear end ratio to 3.73's or lower is a must for optimal performance as well.

Always keep in mind, use the highest quality parts when upgrading the AOD. There are a lot of manufacturers out there, but only the best (usually $$) will net the performance worth spending the money on.
