![]() I agree with Unit 5302, but if you really don't want to spend a ton of money on your AOD, go with a C-4. It takes alot less money to make a performance trans. out of them, but keep in mind you will lose your overdrive. As for a stall converter though, big isn't always better. When chosing a converter, keep in mind your cam size, rear gears (I have 3.73's), vehicle weight, HP output. But anyways, don't get too crazy with your converter. I'm using a 2500 stall in my 88 drag car. 60 ft.'s are 1.70's My car has a warmed-over'69 351W, an '80 C-4, and 3.73 rear gears with a spool.
