Well there are a couple of reasons for converting.
One is that everyone told me that you would usually pick up about 2 to 3 tenths in the 1/4-mile with a carburetor.
Two is there is no chips to have programmed and no computer to tell you what you can or cannot do.
Three is it is just less expensive.

We just got the car running again and I can tell a big difference already. Before, the car used to buck at low rpm's and was not fun to drive and now it is smooth. It also pulls a lot harder at higher rpm's, I used to have to shift at 6200 rpm's because the factory rev limiter cuts out at 6250 and it did not really pull that hard past 6000 anyway. I have set the rev limiter on the msd at 6700 rpm's with the carburetor and it pulls hard, I have bounced it off the rev limiter twice. I am liking this so far!

BTW: 7.686 @90.20 should be a 11.98 @113.?? In the 1/4 mile.(off the nos)

I think my friend has ran a best of 9.01 @ 80mph in the 1/8 mile, and the nos is a 150 shot but we are stepping it down to a 75 shot for him.
