If Atlanta has Lexus patrol cars I'd say there needs to be a serious investigation on the departments spending. That is YOUR money they are wasting. Of course they may just be trying to stick with the tried and true front engine, RWD platform, and the american car companies failed miserably at marketing those cars. I suppose they could be driving Lincoln LS'.

They should be driving something in the Taurus SE class and saving the extra 15 grand to put towards something else, like doing more partrolling, and less ticketing since they obviously don't need the revenue.

Oh, I'd also have to agree with the LT-1's taking us on top end. They are rated from the factory at better than 150mph. Maybe the Cobra could take it? Other than that, they are just too slippery in the wind tunnel. Now 0-120, that's a different story for many stock, and very light modded Stangs.

A cop has no business going over 120 IMHO, even if he's chasing a murder suspect. That's what the choppers and backup are for.
