What inferno forgot to mention is the incredible electrical malfunctions that the Probe's had in the first gen group. They were extremely unreliable and they had many tranny problems, something that the second gen cars got rid of for the most part.

The older turbo Probes are slow in stock form, and while you can upgrade them, it's kind of like upgrading an older 2.3L turbo stang. You can do it, but why bother. They are slow from the start, they have weak drivetrains, and they are usually very high mileage cars that have been beaten.
