Damn Unit, are you stalking me???!!??!! Actually, the second gen probes are just as prone to electrical problems which is made worse by the fact that the engine compartment is extremely tight. It is cheaper to get things fixed on the 1st gens as well. Even simple maintenance is difficult because of the tight engine compartment and a lot of places rack up on the labor on these cars(I was about to buy a second gen Probe before I bought my CRX until I discovered this). The 1st gen turbo cars are slower than the V6 second gen, but the difference can easily be made up with a 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust and an intake. You can also pick up a 1st gen for a lot cheaper than the 2nd gen and with the difference, make the turbo car pretty quick. And on a final note, I have seen a couple of 1st gens run 12's...I have yet to see a second gen run faster than a 14.
