I agree...it doesn't even matter what kind of car is in that opening scene. No car to ever come out of Japan could've kept up with that fine German engineering.
The fact that it pulled even just for a little bit was insulting. And why the hell are these cops keeping up with Eleanor? That's such bullsh!t. That was the sweetest car I've ever seen in a movie (just barely beating out Steve McQueen's "Bullit" 1968 390 GT).------------------ 1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s |
