Unfortunately this question isn't as easy as it sounds. I'm running Windows 2000 Professional on one computer and Windows 2000 Advanced server on another.

There are a lot of games out there. You'll probably have to do some research on Usenet to find out if the games you like to play will work under Windows 2000. I'm able to run Falcon 4.0, Age of Empires II, Half-Life Counter-Strike, Klingon Honor Guard, and Quake III.

My newest computer, a dual processor mother board with a single P3 800EB and VIA Apollo Pro 133A chipset has some problems with Windows 2000. The IDE drivers are somewhat immature and slower than expected. The 3D benchmarks, however, are somewhat faster than when I was running Win98SE.

I do like the NT stability. It doesn't crash nearly as much as Win95 or Win98. I'm also going to add another processor soon, which will require Windows 2000 for it to run properly.
