That's kinda funny this topic came up. I was going to start one asking if Robins were suicidal. I've smacked at least a dozen because the damn birds must think they're faster than me (had to be eating rice, I guess...). They'd fly in front of me out of nowhere, then TURN and go the same direction I was heading! SMACK! Stupid little bastards, could be the Lake Erie water around here, too.
