![]() A simple 'Thanks to all who responded' would be enough as it shows you appreciate the replies. Some folks just don't think and I suppose some just don't care, but MustangII460 has a valid point.
If you think putting responses on the messageboards and never receiving acknowledgment is annoying, try getting a steady stream of e-mail asking for tech advice, and only receiving a 'thanks' from about 20% of those you responded to. This is 1/2 the reason that I never reply to e-mailed tech questions anymore; the other 1/2 being that I simply don't have the time and of course, I don't have a lot of the answers folks are seeking, either. Advice to all who choose to ask for help from 'strangers': Learn how to say 'Thank You'. |
