It is the EXACT same tranny they use in the factory drag cars, with the only difference being a diff torque converter.

If you did beat him, and I don't doubt that you did, he probably just stepped on the gas, which in a stang(any stang) will spin the crap out of the tires, and it wont go anywhere! Its fun tho!
