Many apologies for starting an enviro-debate. My original post was kinda a joke anyway. My point was just the I lost my job due to the industry shutting down in Oregon. I can only speak for my neck of the woods, but the powerful groups that shutdown the timber industry a few years ago were sometimes fanatical. Blocking roads with human shields and climbing tree's tagged for falling. At the same time they sure are glad to be wiping their a$$ with Toilet Paper and wrapping their MJ in papers. I watched as a whole industry that my family has thrived on for 7 generations was shutdown overnight. All because a small owl was supposedly endangered. I personally have seen the owl habitat and know that its nesting sites are 3-4 more times out of danger than ever in danger.
Anyway....sorry for joining the rant of everyone else. I might someday buy the Z back from my parents. Thats why they bought it in the first place. So that I could get it back if I wanted it. Hmmmm........nah. My next vehicle is going to be a F250 SuperCab. True hick at heart... ------------------ 1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289, Manual 3-speed, Edelbrock 650, Flowmaster 3-chambers, and minor upgrades. Interior work includes custom paneling, custom dash dress-up(I refuse to cut anything out of the original), Rewiring most of the electronics, Porsche 911 seats installed soon, and Stroker kit when I get to Texas. November of 2001 I will go back to Dallas. |
