![]() A few thoughts:
1) It would be costly to upgrade the components so that the valvetrain could rev to redline on a Mustang. 2) If the heads are early vintage, then they aren't compatible with unleaded fuel and will be susceptible to valve seat recession. 3) The valves aren't that much bigger than the valves on Mustang heads. 4) Porting costs would be $400+? New springs/retainers/keepers would be another 100 - 200? I guess what I'm saying is that after you total all the costs you'd be close to the price of a new set of World Products heads. ------------------ '91 LX Procharger, 3 row intercooler, extrude honed Cobra intake, Mac full Length Headers, 30# inj., 73mm C&L, 75mm tb, E303 cam, 289 rods, ported E7 heads, MSD, T-Rex w/255 lph Walbro, 5 lug conversion, Cobra R wheels, 3.27 gears and Moser Axles. |
