Rest easy MonsterTrosity, it's a Cobra R not a Type R. I can't remember all the years that there has been an "R" versioned Cobra maybe '93...or '95? It's strictly a stripped down all purpose racing Cobra (hence the "R"). I can assure you that Ford is not trying to capitalize on the Type R.
