you do not need to change the computer in your Cobra. I have had 2 cobras and some friends also have cobras.I personally would not spend the money on mods before you learn how to drive the car properly. I ran a 13.9 in my 93 Cobra with only exhaust and pullies on street tires. so, do the free stuff first and learn to drive like you hate your car and you will be there.Hope this helps
