It will choke the engine.

I wouldn't push compression higher than 10:1 on pump gas to be safe.

It could very well be. Blowers increase cylinder pressure by forcing air in. The bigger the chamber (ie lower compression) the more effectively the blower can work.

Get a 190 or a 255 depending on your budget.

I'd start with 40psi with the vacuum off and go from there.

I would also think 24 lb injectors a very minimum with a blower.

My advice would be choose your route. High compression N/A or the blower/turbo route. Then figure on how much boost you want to run, and build up to that.

I'm building a street oriented N/A 302 with 9.5:1 and with no plans for a blower, only nitrous, so compression is different there. I'm positive that others here can give you better advice on the blowers, the biggest thing to do is plan what you want to do with your car and build it to that.
