![]() I thought I'd chime in a little.
I like the new Cougar. The old Cougar hasn't been a Mustang since 1973. It became the twin to the Thunderbird. The Capri became the Mercury Mustang, it was horribly altered in 1987 to the cheap afterthought 2 seater sports car. I think the production on those cars ended in 1994. The Cougar and Thunderbird were discontinued because of poor sales (mostly because of really bad marketing in my opinion), I personally CANNOT believe Ford didn't respond to the ultra popular Impala SS with a Thunderbird SVT or something. That or a totally badass Crown Vic, rename it the Thunderbolt with a big *** hopped up 5.4 or something. Anyway, the Cougar is a neat little sports car in my opinion. If you want to get down and dirty, look at what the Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Impala, and Malibu became! LOL. |
