![]() I agree. It sounds like the mounts either went away or alowed the engine to twist on the mounting pads of the K-member. I did something similar to this on the cleveland once. THe motor mount can also collapse enough to drop one side and still look fairly normal to visual inspection. It's got to be one of the three mounts or something associated with it. Try this. Have Momma drive the car back and forth a few feet while you watch the engine with the hood up. See if it moves excessively in either direction. Another way is to accelerate moderately in both directions and see if there is significant movement of the shifter when the engine torques. Good luck
