My ex in-laws live in Albuquerque. I've been out to that Balloon Festival about 4 times. The last time I went, they had over 900 balloons!!! ITS AWESOME! They wanted about $100 for a ride. Never took one myself. What's really cool, is before daybreak, when it's still dark, and all the balloons go up, and light up. Incredible. They have all the special shaped ones too! You ought to go sometime. It's the first full week of October, (first 2 weekends) Makes for a great weekend. All you see (and hear) all weekend, is the blowers blowing them up. They have one laying over the other, one goes up, then the next, and so on,etc. If your ever interested in going, let me know, I'll get you some info.
